The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Morgan Kilberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximilian Nordin. Lokomotiv Julita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Morgan Kilberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After some careless play in the Lokomotiv Julita defense, Morgan Kilberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximilian Nordin. The Lokomotiv Julita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximilian Nordin should have stopped the shot. Conny Smefeldt made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Andréas Biörkquist. Maximilian Nordin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Morgan Kilberg went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 25 played minutes Metalducks got a freekick which was hit by Cosimo Grifoni. When Metalducks's Morgan Kilberg in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lokomotiv Julita's goalie prevented a goal. Maximilian Nordin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Nyberg in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Nyberg in the 29th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Julita's goalkeeper Maximilian Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conny Smefeldt made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tommy Sundström immediately put the ball in play. 32 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Kjellkvist came free, but Aleksander Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Metalducks's Tony Modig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximilian Nordin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosimo Grifoni in the 36th minute of play forced Lokomotiv Julita's goalkeeper Maximilian Nordin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lokomotiv Julita getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Peder Finman hit a great ball. Maximilian Nordin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosimo Grifoni went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birger Kjellkvist to make the kick off. 53 minutes in the game Tommy Sundström did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Andréas Biörkquist. In a very dangerous position, a player in Metalducks fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! After 59 minutes of play, Metalducks's Cosimo Grifoni made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximilian Nordin was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Lokomotiv Julita getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Peder Finman hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Julita's zone, Cosimo Grifoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximilian Nordin came out of the goal and Cosimo Grifoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aleksander Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Finman in the 68th minute of play. Cosimo Grifoni's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximilian Nordin firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Peder Finman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lokomotiv Julita's supporters rose to their feet, but Peder Finman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksander Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosimo Grifoni got free with Maximilian Nordin in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Morgan Kilberg fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Metalducks's protests and gave Morgan Kilberg a yellow card for diving instead. Morgan Kilberg hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Metalducks's Greger Skröder was substituted for Morgan Kilberg. In the 79th minute, Morgan Kilberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Julita's goalkeeper Maximilian Nordin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosimo Grifoni. Cosimo Grifoni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximilian Nordin having to interfere. Maximilian Nordin came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Metalducks's Cosimo Grifoni. But to his dismay, Cosimo Grifoni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Maximilian Nordin was a little too slow when Evren Düden got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-8. In the 94th match minute, Metalducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Skröder to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Tommy Sundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lokomotiv Julita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Sundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 99th minute, Cosimo Grifoni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximilian Nordin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-9. Metalducks's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
