Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Abbondanzieri to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Östra Ryd IF's goalkeeper Charlie Magnusson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 51 minutes into the game, Harry Dahlkvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charlie Magnusson. In the 96th minute Östra Ryd IF were awarded a corner. Jesper Olenberg went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which David Grönberg managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the referee ended the match the Östra Ryd IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
