Östra Ryd IF were furious when Roger Bern was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Östra Ryd IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! 29 minutes in the game Zuberoa Ezquerra did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Simon Thidén. Mark Porst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charlie Magnusson having to make a save. With a little luck, Östra Ryd IF's Charlie Magnusson got control of the ball when Mark Porst tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvaro Cremonese's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Charlie Magnusson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Almaröds FF's Mark Porst ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Charlie Magnusson. Charlie Magnusson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jesper Olenberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Tytus Wyrzykowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edwin Giliusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almaröds FF's attentive Aleksander Hult managed to snatch the ball when Birger Vallman made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. Tytus Wyrzykowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jesper Olenberg in the 56th minute. Jesper Olenbergs short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Tytus Wyrzykowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Charlie Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Porst, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Mark Porst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwin Giliusson got free with Tytus Wyrzykowski in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Almaröds FF's Tytus Wyrzykowski got control of the ball when Edwin Giliusson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Östra Ryd IF's attentive Hubert Jernberg managed to snatch the ball when Kent Anundsson made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 76th minute of the match Almaröds FF got a corner. Östra Ryd IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Simon Thidén ran over to the corner to take the kick. Almaröds FF's Zuberoa Ezquerra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Charlie Magnusson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Charlie Magnusson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Porst in the 79th minute of play. Östra Ryd IF made a substitution. David Grönberg replaced Kristoffer Bröms. 91 minutes into the match, Almaröds FF's goalkeeper Tytus Wyrzykowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hubert Jernberg. Östra Ryd IF were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Almaröds FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jesper Olenberg took the corner. Birger Vallman made a great header on Östra Ryd IF's corner, it was just that Almaröds FF's Tytus Wyrzykowski managed to reach the ball for a save. After 96 minutes Östra Ryd IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simon Thidén who took care of the corner kick.
