Hammarby IF's Kaj Björklund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eberardo De Mena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 24 minutes into the game, Evgeniy Kabalevskiy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bebbi United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammarby IF the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Bebbi United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evgeniy Kabalevskiy to maneuver through the defense. When Gösta Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Hammarby IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Söderberg couldn't finish the play. Hammarby IF's Holger Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indrasvat Parmar in the 30th minute of play. Celedonio Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberardo De Mena having to interfere. In the 34th minute Gösta Söderberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eberardo De Mena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes in the game, Francesco Totti fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eberardo De Mena having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Gösta Söderberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Bebbi United's Eberardo De Mena. Eberardo De Mena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivar Haegg made a kick off. With a little luck, Hammarby IF's Holger Vester got control of the ball when Ivar Haegg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eberardo De Mena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 55th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Francesco Totti heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of Hammarby IF booed when Bebbi United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evgeniy Kabalevskiy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eberardo De Mena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 87 minutes of play, Hammarby IF's Celedonio Dominguez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eberardo De Mena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mackenzie Fahlgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Vester having to interfere. Gösta Söderberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberardo De Mena having to interfere. Hammarby IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bebbi United for a fine match.
