Han Lei scored 2-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hannes Blomqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The goalkeeper, Anatoliy Trubin, was totally fooled by Doctors of Ophtalmology's Svante Clementsson, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hannes Blomqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Lei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Betão Basso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hannes Blomqvist was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Hannes Blomqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betão Basso's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Doctors of Ophtalmology's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Han Lei was slow to take the kick. During this time San Fantastico 89ers's players had a chance to rest. The corner led San Fantastico 89ers's Han Lei to fire away a dangerous shot which Hannes Blomqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. San Fantastico 89ers's Betão Basso got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st match minute, Doctors of Ophtalmology was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Abilio to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Han Lei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Han Lei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Hannes Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72ndth minute of the game Han Lei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Doctors of Ophtalmology's Hannes Blomqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Doctors of Ophtalmology booed when San Fantastico 89ers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Aleberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes San Fantastico 89ers got a freekick which was hit by Frans Stigsson. Anatoliy Trubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Gomez in the 83rd minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Doctors of Ophtalmology got a freekick which was hit by Per-Arne Magnusson. Per Forsberg hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Doctors of Ophtalmology defense, Han Lei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hannes Blomqvist. The Doctors of Ophtalmology fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hannes Blomqvist should have stopped the shot. Inder Kul kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Hannes Blomqvist was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Han Lei. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Fantastico 89ers players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Doctors of Ophtalmology.
