When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Candido Urbes put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Natasha Sjøholm. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jochem Klooster got free with Daniel Alrot in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonatan Smedfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 11 played minutes Mellbystrand IK got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Mattsson. Natasha Sjøholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Brogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Natasha Sjøholm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 20 played minutes Griskultingarnas FF got a freekick which was hit by Jochem Klooster. Natasha Sjøholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Urbes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Despite this Natasha Sjøholm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 28 minutes into the match, Griskultingarnas FF's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Brogren came free, but Natasha Sjøholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Alrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arman Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arne Lång during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arne Lång kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Griskultingarnas FF booed when Mellbystrand IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Ekström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match Arne Lång shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Alrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mellbystrand IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
