Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benno Bonk in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åhus Absolut F.C's Jan-Åke Juhlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Baand in the 24th minute of play. Jan-Åke Juhlin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Baand, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Hubert Gruber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Juhlin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Åhus Absolut F.C's Patrik Linqvist threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leo Ström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 40 minutes into the match, Åhus Absolut F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Taco Oldenborger came free, but Jan-Åke Juhlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honu Ng. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Baand was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Kim Kellbom in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Åhus Absolut F.C's Ingvar Mellin. Ingvar Mellin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Linqvist having to interfere. After some careless play in the Åhus Absolut F.C defense, Stanley Santos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Åke Juhlin. The Åhus Absolut F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Åke Juhlin should have stopped the shot. With 65 minutes on the clock, Emmanuel Petit commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Emmanuel Petit hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Stanley Santos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrik Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Leo Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åhus Absolut F.C's Vilhelm Berg was substituted for Ingvar Mellin. Patrik Linqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vilhelm Berg went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute Bo Baand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Juhlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 played minutes Åhus Absolut F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ege Yazargil. Leo Ström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Linqvist having to make a save. Taco Oldenborger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jan-Åke Juhlin made a huge save. The Åhus Absolut F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ryttartorpets FF's performance. The match ended with a win for Ryttartorpets FF.
