Ryttartorpets FF's Taco Oldenborger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gordon Banke in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The Orreboy Royals fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Orreboy Royals's Eliézer Sampaio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eliézer Sampaio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Linqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Viggo Rang took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gordon Banke to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Ryttartorpets FF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. David Bergman hit a great ball. The supporters of Ryttartorpets FF booed when Orreboy Royals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Beckeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörgen Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Ryttartorpets FF's Gordon Banke threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hubert Gruber, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Emanuele Ronconi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led Ryttartorpets FF's Taco Oldenborger to fire away a dangerous shot which Gordon Banke despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliézer Sampaio in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Linqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hubert Gruber stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Asdrubal Rodríguez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orreboy Royals's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asdrubal Rodríguez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gordon Banke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Rang in the 55th minute of the match. Patrik Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. If Ren Smuts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Ryttartorpets FF's Gabriel Martinelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gordon Banke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Ryttartorpets FF made a substitution. Bo Baand replaced Gabriel Martinelli. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jörgen Wenerdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orreboy Royals's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Wenerdahl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrik Linqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viggo Rang hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 86th play minutes Eliézer Sampaio shot 2-5, a short shot which went by Patrik Linqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. Orreboy Royals's Birger Berglund was substituted for Jörgen Wenerdahl. With his leg Patrik Linqvist managed to avoid a goal in the 92ndth minute, when Orreboy Royals's Eliézer Sampaio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Asdrubal Rodríguez in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Patrik Linqvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 94th minute Birger Berglund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Asdrubal Rodríguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Orreboy Royals had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
