It was a well-played corner which Gottfrid Backlund managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. But to his dismay, Peder Olsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Ryttartorpets FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ren Smuts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Benno Bonk fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ryttartorpets FF's protests and gave Benno Bonk a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Baaden Kïrchen 1958 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
