The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Åmselle BF defense, Henrik Grönlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oskar Malmgren. The Åmselle BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oskar Malmgren should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Åmselle BF's Karl-Michael Engström got a free kick in the 7th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Åmselle BF's goal looked a bit too open when Unto Ilola came free, but Oskar Malmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Olympiakos fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Olympiakos's Henrik Grönlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Engström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Braulio Corderro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrik Grönlund took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oskar Malmgren. Oskar Malmgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl-Michael Engström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Braulio Corderro. That made the score 2-3 in the 30 minute of play. Karl-Michael Engström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Corderro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Leif Björling kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Åmselle BF's Oskar Malmgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 张战彬 in the 39th minute of play. Oskar Malmgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Unto Ilola's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 马宽天 kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Hamnberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Olympiakos's Braulio Corderro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Engström in the 54th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Olympiakos's goalie and right to Karl-Oskar Vennerlund. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Olympiakos's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When Arne Hamnberg came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Åmselle BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arne Hamnberg couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Grönlund in the 58th minute of play forced Åmselle BF's goalkeeper Oskar Malmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Malmgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Grönlund in the 61st minute of play. Tobias Norling made in the 65th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Harold Coenens immediately put the ball in play. In the 70th minute, one of Åmselle BF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Åmselle BF. After taking down the ball on Olympiakos's corner Stig Frisk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Oskar Malmgren quite easily take care of the ball. Braulio Corderro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Braulio Corderro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes Åmselle BF got a freekick which was hit by Magne Kling. Åmselle BF's Irman Roos was substituted for Kasper Linquist. After a rather tough play, Åmselle BF's Magne Kling got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 94 played minutes Åmselle BF got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Malmgren. Olympiakos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
