IFK Fjärås's Kristoffer Västerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orvar Kihlman in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, BV Borussia Hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when Ben Şah came free, but Jairo Asteguieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Karl Springfält kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kristoffer Västerberg. That made the score 1-1 in the 14 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orvar Kihlman in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Kristoffer Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orvar Kihlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Fjärås's zone, Orvar Kihlman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Västerberg came out of the goal and Orvar Kihlman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The BV Borussia Hammarby supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching IFK Fjärås's performance. The match ended with a win for IFK Fjärås.
