Szimbas Lejonflock's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anders Örtlund ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led BV Borussia Hammarby's Anders Örtlund to fire away a dangerous shot which Ni Jun Sha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Alexander Del Piero could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Jairo Asteguieta however easily saved by the left post. Orvar Kihlman took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ni Jun Sha. Ni Jun Sha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ni Jun Sha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Mårtensson in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta got control of the ball when Simon Askelöf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jairo Asteguieta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Del Piero in the 18th minute. Ni Jun Sha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Mårtensson in the 21st minute of the match. BV Borussia Hammarby's Jairo Asteguieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Askelöf in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Szimbas Lejonflock's goal looked a bit too open when Orvar Kihlman came free, but Ni Jun Sha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 minutes Szimbas Lejonflock's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anders Örtlund who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Anders Örtlund got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ni Jun Sha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jairo Asteguieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Askelöf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo Asteguieta came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Szimbas Lejonflock's Alexander Del Piero. But to his dismay, Alexander Del Piero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ni Jun Sha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jairo Asteguieta made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Isac Blom sent off a good shot on target. Jairo Asteguieta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Del Piero in the 43rd minute. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Springfält in the 45th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Isac Blom made the kick off in the second half. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Szimbas Lejonflock from getting a goal against them. Ni Jun Sha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hong Hao Fei's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Jairo Asteguieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Del Piero in the 59th minute of play. BV Borussia Hammarby made a substitution. Honorio Florin replaced Birger Mårtensson. Szimbas Lejonflock made a substitution. Edgar Andersson replaced Simon Askelöf. Szimbas Lejonflock made a substitution. Max Hjelm replaced Billy Dahlberg. BV Borussia Hammarby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Del Piero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 88th minute Sven Morat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Asteguieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Florin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ni Jun Sha firmly grabbed it by the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Szimbas Lejonflock fans cheered their team off the field, for while BV Borussia Hammarby had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
