The Flamengo fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Flamengo's Kasper Bivall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Cash Is King's Einar Fernkvist got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Carmine Topatigh came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Cash Is King was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Björling to maneuver through the defense. Marius Ettori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kasper Bivall in the 31st minute of play. Marius Ettori came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Kasper Bivall. But to his dismay, Kasper Bivall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With a little luck, Flamengo's August Hjortberg got control of the ball when Well-Well Qadeishvili tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marius Ettori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kasper Bivall in the 41st minute of the match. When Flamengo's Kasper Bivall in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cash Is King's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Kasper Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasper Bivall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kasper Bivall to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Cash Is King's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Kilström came free, but Marius Ettori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cash Is King's goalkeeper Marius Ettori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner ended in Fredric Zander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cash Is King's Marius Ettori did a great save. Henrik Kilström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Marius Ettori made a huge save. 64 minutes into the match, Cash Is King's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Bivall came free, but Marius Ettori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Bivall in the 67th minute of play forced Cash Is King's goalkeeper Marius Ettori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Ettori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 71 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Bivall. Kasper Bivall hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Bivall in the 75th minute of play forced Cash Is King's goalkeeper Marius Ettori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrik Kilström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrik Kilström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Marius Ettori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 87 minutes Flamengo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elof Ödmann who took care of the corner kick. When Alexander Söderkvist fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cash Is King's protests and gave Alexander Söderkvist a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cash Is King's Carmine Topatigh got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Flamengo's Kasper Bivall in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Kasper Bivall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marius Ettori was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Flamengo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
