An unexpectedly hard shot by Kasper Bivall in the 10th minute of play forced Cash Is King's goalkeeper Marius Ettori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes Cash Is King's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fredric Zander who took care of the corner kick. After 12 minutes, Ahmet Ceyhan Erozan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Flamengo and the Cash Is King players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kasper Bivall in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marius Ettori saved Cash Is King from getting behind. In the 20th minute Flamengo were awarded a corner. Fredric Zander went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Flamengo's Kasper Bivall getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Greger Strömbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Marius Ettori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kasper Bivall got free with Marius Ettori in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Cash Is King's goal looked a bit too open when Kasper Bivall came free, but Marius Ettori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Cash Is King fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Cash Is King's Rikard Ekerot looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marius Ettori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Bivall, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 42nd minute Henrik Kilström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Ettori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Qadeishvili in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute Carmine Topatigh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. August Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Topatigh in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasper Bivall to make the kick off. When Rikard Ekerot came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Cash Is King fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rikard Ekerot couldn't finish the play. Kasper Bivall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marius Ettori having to make a save. Carmine Topatigh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, August Hjortberg skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marius Ettori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Kilström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cash Is King's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fredric Zander was slow to take the kick. During this time Flamengo's players had a chance to rest. 62 minutes into the match, Cash Is King's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Kilström came free, but Marius Ettori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. August Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Qadeishvili in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Kasper Bivall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Ettori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cash Is King's Marius Ettori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasper Bivall in the 69th minute of play. Carmine Topatigh could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but August Hjortberg made a huge save. Marius Ettori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Kilström in the 85th minute of the match. Alexander Söderkvist hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Arturo Espiridion hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Lars Vassenius recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of August Hjortberg. Lars Vassenius showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2.
