Sonny Perkins started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonny Perkins in the 11th minute of play forced Frinnaryd's goalkeeper Jan Lindström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sonny Perkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jan Lindström made a huge save. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Frinnaryd's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antoni Majusiak was slow to take the kick. During this time Quetzal Flyers Hammers's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Antoni Majusiak to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan Lindström despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Francesco Marines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Sjögren in the 18th minute of play. Frinnaryd's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chet Baker in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chet Baker in the 21st minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Francesco Marines to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francesco Marines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chet Baker in the 22nd minute of play. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Lindström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sonny Perkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sonny Perkinss short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Jan Lindström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tony Cote kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. When Egil Sjögren came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Frinnaryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Sjögren couldn't finish the play. Jan Lindström made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Graham Jolicoeur sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Sonny Perkins could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Jan Lindström however easily saved by the left post. 43 minutes into the match, Sonny Perkins notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Frinnaryd's Jan Lindström. Jan Lindström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Frinnaryd's Stig-Åke Rosendahl was substituted for Chet Baker. Frinnaryd made a substitution. Li Nan Yu replaced Kerim Kilic. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Li Nan Yu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines got control of the ball when Behiç Üster tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Rolfsson in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan Lindström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Egil Sjögren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Francesco Marines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Quetzal Flyers Hammers from getting a goal against them. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Francesco Marines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egil Sjögren in the 79th minute of play. When Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Sonny Perkins in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frinnaryd's goalie prevented a goal. Frinnaryd's Jan Lindström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graham Jolicoeur in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Egil Sjögren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Marines was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Francesco Marines made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Stig-Åke Rosendahl sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Graham Jolicoeur in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Lindström saved Frinnaryd from getting behind. It was a well-played corner which Tony Cote managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 93 minutes into the match, Frinnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Cote came free, but Jan Lindström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Rosendahl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Frinnaryd players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Quetzal Flyers Hammers.
