Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Lundkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Sjöström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Joacim Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Meadow Village's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Sjöström came free, but Alex Lundkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Meadow Village booed when hermanskaviarkryss was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sydney Amaral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Meadow Village's Alex Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Tadici in the 39th minute of play. Evert Ahlrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Joacim Holmgren made a huge save. Eusebiu Tadici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Lundkvist having to interfere.

The wind increased when Evert Ahlrot made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shane Warne got free with Alex Lundkvist in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, hermanskaviarkryss's Alex Lundkvist threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claes Sjöström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute, Jarbas Sabóia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the match, hermanskaviarkryss's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Almqvist came free, but Joacim Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, hermanskaviarkryss's Kjell-Arne Österlund got a free kick in the 94th minute. The hermanskaviarkryss supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing hermanskaviarkryss would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
