Spectators: 8466 (Terracing: 6350, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 170) Olofsi IF's Einar Ingvall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Olofsi IF from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariannelund's Alfons Ahlerot slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Einar Ingvall. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 20th minute of the game Bennvar Backe made a throw-in which Dan Hellström played forward. A collision led to Olofsi IF getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Krzysztof Pawlak hit a great ball. Elliott Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefano St. Juste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Valdemar Jonasson in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mariannelund's Bennvar Backe. Vilgot Haegg scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elliott Berggren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elliott Berggren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vilgot Haegg in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilgot Haegg in the 40th minute of play forced Mariannelund's goalkeeper Elliott Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vilgot Haegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Mariannelund made a substitution. Gustaf Kjellkvist replaced Alfons Ahlerot. Mariannelund's Olof Sundberg was substituted for Dan Hellström. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vilgot Haegg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elliott Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Haegg, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Einar Ingvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Kjellkvist in the 61st minute of play. Vilgot Haegg took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elliott Berggren. Elliott Berggren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Mariannelund made a substitution. Joar Uggstedt replaced Börje Hellström. Bennvar Backe hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, Mariannelund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennvar Backe to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mariannelund's zone, Aron Enegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliott Berggren came out of the goal and Aron Enegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute Gustaf Kjellkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Ingvall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Olofsi IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olofsi IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
