The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when United 11 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Runeberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Karl-Ove Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Melander, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 20 minutes in the game, Şerif Kutlualp dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Michel Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Sörman in the 27th minute of play. Michel Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Sörman, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Melander in the 31st minute of play forced United 11 FC's goalkeeper Michel Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Melander in the 34th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Karl-Ove Sörman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Ove Sörman in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Biörnberg saved United 11 FC from getting behind. After the first half National Team Cape-Verde were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Şerif Kutlualp was the one to do the kick off. United 11 FC's Michel Biörnberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save United 11 FC from getting a goal against them. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Ham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredric Melander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Biörnberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. National Team Cape-Verde's Alex Broberg was substituted for Karl-Ove Sörman. Michel Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Melander in the 68th minute of play. Michel Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Broberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Thomas Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Gula Piller replaced Fredric Melander. The audience was convinced that Silvio Ham's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Sefastsson was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Aquiles Tróia hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Silvio Ham made a precise shot to the right of Pål Sefastsson. National Team Cape-Verde's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Alex Broberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Michel Biörnberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Broberg in the 95th minute of play forced United 11 FC's goalkeeper Michel Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. National Team Cape-Verde had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
