When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Maxim Tsigalko put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ivan Västlund. 9 minutes into the game, Maxim Tsigalko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ivan Västlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ivan Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Maxim Tsigalko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Västlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ivan Västlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papilio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Bivall was slow to take the kick. During this time Samurai's players had a chance to rest. Maxim Tsigalko took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Västlund. Ivan Västlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Ivan Västlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Tsigalko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papilio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Allan Bivall was slow to take the kick. During this time Samurai's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Samurai's Allan Bivall to fire away a dangerous shot which Ivan Västlund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ivan Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 33rd minute of play. Papilio's Ivan Västlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 35th minute of play. Maxim Tsigalko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Västlund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Mark Eckegren made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samurai's Rutger Vallander. Maxim Tsigalko might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Västlund. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxim Tsigalko ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timmy Henriksson in the 41st minute of play forced Papilio's goalkeeper Ivan Västlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Maxim Tsigalko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Västlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Rutger Vallander's late challenge caught a Papilio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rutger Vallander helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Samurai got a freekick which was hit by Rutger Vallander. Samurai's Vince Di Cola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Lagerberg in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko notched a goal, 0-9, to the right of Papilio's Ivan Västlund. Ivan Västlund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th minute, Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. With an all-out effort, Samurai's Ivan Västlund threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timmy Henriksson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Samurai fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-11 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samurai's Esbjörn Hultstrand was substituted for Timmy Henriksson. The crowd rose to their feet as Maxim Tsigalko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ivan Västlund. That made the score 0-12 in the 64 minute of play. Maxim Tsigalko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Allan Bivall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Västlund. Papilio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Bivall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. 72 minutes into the game, Maxim Tsigalko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Ivan Västlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Esbjörn Hultstrand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai's supporters rose to their feet, but Esbjörn Hultstrand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Västlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Västlund was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Maxim Tsigalko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maxim Tsigalko really showed his touch with that goal: 0-15. In the 86th minute, Samurai's Maxim Tsigalko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ivan Västlund. Ivan Västlund yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-17. Allan Bivall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ivan Västlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Esbjörn Hultstrand reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Västlund. The goal made the score 0-18. In the 93rd minute Maxim Tsigalko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Västlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Maxim Tsigalko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
