The audience was convinced that Krister Jonsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pål Sefastsson was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The supporters of National Team Cape-Verde booed when Lite Finare Lite Bättre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iraklis Rapanos was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. National Team Cape-Verde made a substitution. Gula Piller replaced Max Skarkman. In the 20th minute, Iraklis Rapanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krister Jonsson in the 27th minute of play forced National Team Cape-Verde's goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hjalmar Browald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Peter Belkå made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hjalmar Browald got free with Peter Belkå in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Krister Jonsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pål Sefastsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Krister Jonsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Jonsson in the 31st minute of the match. Pål Sefastsson came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Krister Jonsson. But to his dismay, Krister Jonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pål Sefastsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krister Jonsson in the 40th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Krister Jonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pål Sefastsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Lite Finare Lite Bättre's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Jonsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pål Sefastsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Peter Belkå played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Ove Sörman in the 76th minute of play. Peter Belkå showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Ove Sörman in the 80th minute of the match. Peter Belkå took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Ove Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peter Belkå made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gula Piller in the 84th minute of play. When Krister Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Lite Finare Lite Bättre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krister Jonsson couldn't finish the play. The Lite Finare Lite Bättre players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
