The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Christer Skräddare nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Martin Lundgren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christer Skräddare went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Skräddare in the 9th minute of play forced Solskin's goalkeeper Martin Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Per Henriksson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Solskin's Martin Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Smed in the 13th minute of play. Anthon Nykvist's late challenge caught a Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthon Nykvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Solskin got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Nykvist. Martin Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Henriksson in the 15th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Rickard Göransson made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Solskin's Martin Lundgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Christer Skräddare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After 22 minutes, Per Henriksson made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Solskin's Martin Lundgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 26 played minutes Solskin got a freekick which was hit by Anthon Nykvist. 27 minutes in the game, Christer Skräddare dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Solskin's goal looked a bit too open when Per Henriksson came free, but Martin Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Henriksson in the 30th minute of play. Per Henriksson scored 0-7 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Lundgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Mark Smed nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Lundgren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Vilgot Fogel charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilgot Fogel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Vilgot Fogel hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Solskin's zone, Mark Smed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Lundgren came out of the goal and Mark Smed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Lundgren came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin's Christer Skräddare. But to his dismay, Christer Skräddare quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-9.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per Henriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Rickard Göransson notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Solskin's Martin Lundgren. Martin Lundgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Lundgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Per Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute Mark Smed suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. In the 57th match minute, Solskin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthon Nykvist to maneuver through the defense. Anthon Nykvist hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Sören Fredriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Lundgren having to interfere. Martin Lundgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rickard Göransson's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin booed when Solskin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Strömbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Per Henriksson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Lundgren. The goal made the score 0-11. Per Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th play minute Per Henriksson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Martin Lundgren. 0-12. In the 77th minute, Christer Skräddare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-13. Solskin's Martin Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Göransson in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Christer Skräddare notched a goal, 0-14, to the right of Solskin's Martin Lundgren. Martin Lundgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Sören Fredriksson hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Helge Kullander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Lundgren. That made the score 0-15 in the 86 minute of play. Rickard Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Martin Lundgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per Henriksson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Martin Lundgren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Solskin's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rickard Göransson 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-16. When the final whistle sounded Mesopotamia Beth-Nahrin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Solskin.
