In the 28th match minute, Oakcroft Thrashers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ákos Vincze to maneuver through the defense. The Shadows were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Oakcroft Thrashers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ni Zhen Ying took the corner. With a little luck, The Shadows's Marcos Basso got control of the ball when Ian Wright tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Niklas Lundqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffer Modig was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

Marcos Basso came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Oakcroft Thrashers's Ian Wright. But to his dismay, Ian Wright quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Marcos Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62ndth minute of the game Ian Wright who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Shadows's Marcos Basso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Wright in the 64th minute of play forced The Shadows's goalkeeper Marcos Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oakcroft Thrashers's attentive Ludwig Ståhlman managed to snatch the ball when Robin Cane made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. With his leg Christoffer Modig managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when The Shadows's Niklas Lundqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Svante Gustafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Marcos Basso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ian Wright got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herbert Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Herman Lindell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Christoffer Modig made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herman Lindell got free with Christoffer Modig in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 94 played minutes The Shadows got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Holmgren. The Shadows's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Oakcroft Thrashers had won, even though The Shadows had held more of the ball.
