The corner was taken by Charlie Löfgren in the 4th minute. The corner ended in Charlie Löfgren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson did a great save. Karl-Erik Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 6th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Ola Lund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Erik Larsson, 1-0. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save SoS FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Tommy Boylin made a precise shot to the right of Alfons Sjö. Garsås IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The Garsås IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SoS FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Boylin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Boylin came free, but Alfons Sjö reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
