When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Lars-Erik Almstedt put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Benny Bur. After some careless play in the Sledgehammer KO defense, Adam Sävström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benny Bur. The Sledgehammer KO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benny Bur should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xentrias fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sledgehammer KO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
