The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bernt Offendahl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. 14 minutes into the match, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Birger Hedberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Hermansson in the 17th minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Carsten Eckstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Offendahl in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carsten Eckstein saved Real Södertälje from getting behind. Rikard Wolff could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Aurel Crivoi made a huge save. In the 19th minute, Rikard Wolff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurel Crivoi. The goal made the score 2-0. 27 minutes into the game, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carsten Eckstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Hugo in the 30th minute of play forced Real Södertälje's goalkeeper Carsten Eckstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mike Tyson hit a great ball. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Wickander, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute Birger Hedberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurel Crivoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Södertälje's Carsten Eckstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Uter in the 44th minute of play. Aurel Crivoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birger Hedberg in the 47th minute. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nils-Åke Wickander stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aurel Crivoi came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Södertälje's Nils-Åke Wickander. But to his dismay, Nils-Åke Wickander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Carsten Eckstein was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hector Hugo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 56 minute of play. Aurel Crivoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Wickander in the 61st minute of the match. Real Södertälje's Bennvar Nickler was substituted for Rikard Wolff. Real Södertälje's Jakob Källberg was substituted for Birger Hedberg. Ralf Björk made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Guld Run. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evelio Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Guld Run hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Bennvar Nickler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Aurel Crivoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurel Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler in the 82nd minute of play. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bennvar Nickler, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Máté Gulyás's late challenge caught a Real Södertälje's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Máté Gulyás helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Real Södertälje a penalty, 92 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bennvar Nickler, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi. 5-3. A collision led to Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Marius Neset hit a great ball. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
