When Bernard Nigbor fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szyszki SSA's protests and gave Bernard Nigbor a yellow card for diving instead. Bernard Nigbor kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Axel Widberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Dudek having to interfere. Kryspin Charlos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Szyszki SSA got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Nigbor. Bernard Nigbor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the game, Radimír Otava was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Szyszki SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stal Rzeszów Hooligans the free kick. A collision led to Szyszki SSA getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Radimír Otava hit a great ball. In the 44th match minute, Szyszki SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Winograd to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Bernard Nigbor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Szyszki SSA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kryspin Charlos was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Stal Rzeszów Hooligans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Ikalewicz to maneuver through the defense. Adam Ikalewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Adam Ikalewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Ikalewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Szyszki SSA booed when Stal Rzeszów Hooligans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Ikalewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stal Rzeszów Hooligans's Kryspin Charlos suffered a concussion after 57 minutes and had to leave the field. After 57 minutes, Tolek Winograd mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Szyszki SSA and the Stal Rzeszów Hooligans players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th match minute, Szyszki SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Winograd to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Szyszki SSA's Bernard Nigbor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norbert Olejarz. That made the score 0-2 after 60 minutes of play. In the 66th play minute Bernard Nigbor came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Norbert Olejarz. 0-3. In the 69th minute, one of Stal Rzeszów Hooligans:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Stal Rzeszów Hooligans. After having played for 75 minutes, Bernard Nigbor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szyszki SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernard Nigbor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Norbert Olejarz managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Szyszki SSA's Bernard Nigbor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chants of Szyszki SSA echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Stal Rzeszów Hooligans had held the ball for most of the match.
