Spectators: 7060 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mikael Hermansson made the kick off which started today's match. Lucjan Jaroch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludomil Zalipski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Miromir Galagan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Lech Wasikowski fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Korona Piła's protests and gave Lech Wasikowski a yellow card for diving instead. Lech Wasikowski hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th match minute, Korona Piła was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konrad Gonsiewski to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Korona Piła was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mieszko Fronczak to maneuver through the defense. Konrad Gonsiewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Piotr Podowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konrad Gonsiewski ran back to his position shaking his head. After 25 minutes of play, Korona Piła's Mikael Hermansson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Piotr Podowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 30 played minutes Korona Piła got a freekick which was hit by Lech Wasikowski. 37 minutes into the match, Konrad Gonsiewski notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of AS Monaco's Piotr Podowski. Piotr Podowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Korona Piła were furious when Mieszko Fronczak was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Korona Piła! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Korona Piła's Vanko Gasharov was substituted for Lech Wasikowski. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Konrad Gonsiewski took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Piotr Podowski to make any attempt to save it. If Şeray Kocaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucjan Jaroch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şeray Kocaker in the 71st minute of play. Mariusz Damaski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to AS Monaco getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cezar Milescu hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Korona Piła defense, Şeray Kocaker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucjan Jaroch. The Korona Piła fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucjan Jaroch should have stopped the shot. The AS Monaco manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Korona Piła to win.
