Match Report

Stadion Stahnken
Spectators: 5200 (Terracing: 4100, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0)
The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Janusz Niezywy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roman Birkenhagen hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dobieszyn's zone, Janusz Niezywy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krzysztof Okraszewski came out of the goal and Janusz Niezywy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Janusz Niezywy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Dobieszyn's Wit Panasewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krzysztof Rekawiczka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Krzysztof Okraszewski was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Janusz Niezywy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Janusz Niezywy really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Zygmunt Pawlik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krzysztof Okraszewski didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 21st minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Borys Ludzia might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Krzysztof Rekawiczka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Borys Ludzia ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Rzegotka during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of Stahnken:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dobieszyn:s goal. Zdzislaw Kornaszewski shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 30 minutes into the match, Stahnken's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Pawlik came free, but Krzysztof Rekawiczka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Janusz Niezywy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krzysztof Okraszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Zbigniew Gaszynski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Janusz Niezywy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stahnken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janusz Niezywy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Dobieszyn's Zygmunt Pawlik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Krzysztof Rekawiczka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Roman Birkenhagen made a precise shot to the right of Krzysztof Rekawiczka. Stahnken's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Pawlik in the 41st minute of play forced Stahnken's goalkeeper Krzysztof Rekawiczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Rekawiczka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Pawlik in the 42nd minute of the match. If Janusz Niezywy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Zygmunt Pawlik made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Stahnken's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Panasewicz came free, but Krzysztof Rekawiczka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borys Ludzia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Krzysztof Rekawiczka made a huge save. Zbigniew Cytrynski's late challenge caught a Dobieszyn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbigniew Cytrynski helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Stahnken got a freekick which was hit by Zbigniew Cytrynski. Janusz Niezywy struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Krzysztof Okraszewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stahnken. After some careless play in the Dobieszyn defense, Janusz Niezywy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krzysztof Okraszewski. The Dobieszyn fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krzysztof Okraszewski should have stopped the shot. Wit Panasewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Krzysztof Rekawiczka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Krzysztof Rekawiczka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Pawlik in the 72nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Stahnken's Waldemar Rzegotka got a free kick in the 77th minute. Stahnken's Arkadiusz Szel was substituted for Benedykt Trela. A collision led to Stahnken getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Waldemar Rzegotka hit a great ball. If Waldemar Pisarcik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janusz Niezywy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krzysztof Okraszewski having to interfere. If Janusz Niezywy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stahnken's Hugon Parzysz was substituted for Waldemar Pisarcik. 90 minutes into the match, Janusz Niezywy notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Dobieszyn's Krzysztof Okraszewski. Krzysztof Okraszewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borys Ludzia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Krzysztof Rekawiczka made a huge save. Dobieszyn's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
