Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) Gurkeln's Marek Kicia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Szaniec's Miromir Popowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Kicia in the 5th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gurkeln's Teobald Fafinski got a free kick in the 9th minute. Elia Mammarella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lech Mitus having to interfere. Marek Kicia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lech Mitus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Mammarella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Rutger Ahlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gurkeln's Lech Mitus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Rutger Ahlin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gurkeln's Lech Mitus. Lech Mitus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 26 minutes, Marek Kicia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gurkeln's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marek Kicia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Gustaw Soroka cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lech Mitus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Konstanty Purzycki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Popowicz having to interfere. Miromir Popowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kajetan Kazanowski in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Marek Kicia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gurkeln's supporters rose to their feet, but Marek Kicia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miromir Popowicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lech Mitus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rutger Ahlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Gurkeln's Lech Mitus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rutger Ahlin in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Walery Czeszejko during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Szaniec got a freekick which was hit by Walery Czeszejko. Marek Kicia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Popowicz having to interfere. A collision led to Szaniec getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Timoteo Aguirre hit a great ball. Miromir Popowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstanty Purzycki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szaniec fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! In the 66th minute, Teobald Fafinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lech Mitus acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 68th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wawrzyniec Chazon. Teobald Fafinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Miromir Popowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Janusz Glaza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gurkeln getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Marek Kicia hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Rutger Ahlin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Lech Mitus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marek Kicia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szaniec's Miromir Popowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Fafinski in the 86th minute of play. Gurkeln's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Rutger Ahlin scored to the left of an out of position Lech Mitus, making the score, 1-4. Miromir Popowicz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gurkeln's Marek Kicia. But to his dismay, Marek Kicia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Marek Kicia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miromir Popowicz having to make a save. The Szaniec supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Szaniec would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
