Beniamin Zuraw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Sobania in the 12th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witomir Lodowy. Groty's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyangs short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Witomir Lodowy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Beniamin Zuraw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Sliwinski in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the Groty defense, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Witomir Lodowy. The Groty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Witomir Lodowy should have stopped the shot. After having played for 32 minutes, Wincenty Bartelak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borussia Dortmund 09's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincenty Bartelak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th match minute, Groty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Kazczyk to maneuver through the defense. Witomir Lodowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Birkenhagen in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Arkadiusz Tusk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beniamin Zuraw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Sobania in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Witomir Lodowy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Groty's Witomir Lodowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 58th minute of play. The Borussia Dortmund 09 fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Borussia Dortmund 09's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 78th minute, Wincenty Bartelak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Borussia Dortmund 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Witomir Lodowy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the 84th minute of play. Borussia Dortmund 09's Beniamin Zuraw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Sobania in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match, Igor Sobania tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Beniamin Zuraw saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 90 minutes into the match, Groty's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came free, but Witomir Lodowy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borussia Dortmund 09's Beniamin Zuraw proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund 09 from getting a goal against them. Beniamin Zuraw was a little too slow when Igor Sobania got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 5-1. Borussia Dortmund 09's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
