Witomir Lodowy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wladyslaw Madajczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund 09's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Sobania came free, but Beniamin Zuraw reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Groty booed when Borussia Dortmund 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Witsel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Groty's protests and gave Mikolaj Sliwinski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Mikolaj Sliwinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 minutes of play, Groty's Igor Sobania made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beniamin Zuraw was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cyryl Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kajetan Matuch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th match minute, Groty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Konstanty Wincek to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Borussia Dortmund 09's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Witomir Lodowy. That made the score 1-6 after 92 minutes of play.
