Legia Warszawa's Tobiasz Ruszkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Jurne Chopy's Jacek Solarek got a free kick in the 11th minute. Lech Wieczorek kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcin Fronczak in the 18th minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Feliks Osowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobiasz Ruszkowski got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-0 in the right cross in the 19th match minute before Stefan Chwalkiewicz had time to react. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wojciech Zaremba in the 23rd minute of play forced Legia Warszawa's goalkeeper Feliks Osowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Legia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Fronczak came free, but Feliks Osowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobiasz Ruszkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Stefan Chwalkiewicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Jurne Chopy booed when Legia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyryl Zaremba didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jurne Chopy's Wojciech Zaremba in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Legia Warszawa's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd match minute, Legia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobiasz Ruszkowski to maneuver through the defense. Feliks Osowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wojciech Zaremba went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Feliks Osowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Fronczak in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Wojciech Zaremba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Feliks Osowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliks Osowski came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Jurne Chopy's Borys Kalak. But to his dismay, Borys Kalak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 53 played minutes, Legia Warszawa's Leonard Domaradzki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stefan Chwalkiewicz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Legia Warszawa reached it. When Borys Kalak came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Jurne Chopy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Kalak couldn't finish the play. Legia Warszawa's Tobiasz Ruszkowski got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jurne Chopy's Stefan Chwalkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Delgado in the 62nd minute of play. After 66 played minutes Jurne Chopy got a freekick which was hit by Borys Kalak. After 69 played minutes Jurne Chopy got a freekick which was hit by Szczepan Piwowarski. Tobiasz Ruszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Borys Kalak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliks Osowski. The goal made the score 1-5. Wojciech Zaremba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliks Osowski having to make a save. Feliks Osowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Zaremba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Jurne Chopy's goal looked a bit too open when Tobiasz Ruszkowski came free, but Stefan Chwalkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacek Solarek took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliks Osowski. Feliks Osowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. If Semavi Sertel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurne Chopy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
