After 7 played minutes Hardgrove FC got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Radzyminski. Hardgrove FC's Korneliusz Plachetka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Pietras in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Stargardt's zone, Radomil Radzyminski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Napoleon Siwy came out of the goal and Radomil Radzyminski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hardgrove FC's Korneliusz Plachetka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juliusz Pietras in the 12th minute of play. Karol Poling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute, Teobald Borczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hardgrove FC's Korneliusz Plachetka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Poling in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Stargardt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachariasz Rybak to maneuver through the defense. Napoleon Siwy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomil Radzyminski in the 24th minute. The supporters of Stargardt booed when Hardgrove FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Jaraczeski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Glapiak in the 28th minute of play forced Hardgrove FC's goalkeeper Korneliusz Plachetka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Hardgrove FC's Radomil Radzyminski got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Mamon Al Sarraf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Karol Poling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korneliusz Plachetka was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Radomil Radzyminski struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Napoleon Siwy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hardgrove FC. 42 minutes into the match, Stargardt's goalkeeper Napoleon Siwy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radomil Radzyminski. In the 45th minute, Radomil Radzyminski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Napoleon Siwy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Radzyminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Napoleon Siwy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st minute Juliusz Pietras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Plachetka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Radomil Radzyminski came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Hardgrove FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radomil Radzyminski couldn't finish the play. After having played for 88 minutes, Tolek Borczak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hardgrove FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolek Borczak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radomil Radzyminski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Napoleon Siwy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Although Hardgrove FC had been in control for most of the match, Stargardt still came away with the win.
