Sylwester Lampe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doğaner Sureha in the 4th minute. Despite this Sylwester Lampe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 16th minute Edmund Deput shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Lampe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arkadiusz Grondzki charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arkadiusz Grondzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Wrzos Świętochłowice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkadiusz Grondzki to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Edmund Deput kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sylwester Lampe. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. Wawrzyniec Dobilas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Sylwester Lampe was a little too slow when Doğaner Sureha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roch Cieliczka got free with Sylwester Lampe in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doğaner Sureha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Leonard Cytrynski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roch Cieliczka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Lampe having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wawrzyniec Dobilas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Edmund Deput who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Zawodzie's Sylwester Lampe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the FC Zawodzie defense, Roch Cieliczka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Lampe. The FC Zawodzie fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Lampe should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doğaner Sureha in the 60th minute of play forced FC Zawodzie's goalkeeper Sylwester Lampe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Roch Cieliczka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wrzos Świętochłowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Antoni Piglowski was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Wrzos Świętochłowice booed when FC Zawodzie was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Piglowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6-0 became the score in the 86th minute when Doğaner Sureha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zawodzie's zone, Doğaner Sureha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Lampe came out of the goal and Doğaner Sureha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roch Cieliczka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylwester Lampe having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Antoni Piglowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Gerardo Columbo however easily saved by the left post.
