Wit Bronkala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Wielkopolski having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Arkadiusz Borcz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 40th play minutes Wit Bronkala shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gwidon Wielkopolski and just under the crossbar into goal. Real Madryt's Wasyl Kluska proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madryt from getting a goal against them. Wit Bronkala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gwidon Wielkopolski having to make a save. Iwo Tomaszewski hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Wisła Kraków 1970's Gwidon Wielkopolski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Wisła Kraków 1970 from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute Arkadiusz Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wasyl Kluska saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Bronkala in the 64th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków 1970's goalkeeper Gwidon Wielkopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Real Madryt's goal looked a bit too open when Izydor Jaraczeski came free, but Wasyl Kluska reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
