The supporters of Zemsta Działoszyn booed when Widzew Łódz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Borowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfred Pruss in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boleslaw Ruszkowski saved Widzew Łódz from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Zemsta Działoszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Walaszkiewicz came free, but Radomil Haszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Pruss in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boleslaw Ruszkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Widzew Łódz's goalkeeper Boleslaw Ruszkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Widzew Łódz got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Andrysiak. In the 44th minute, Alfred Pruss ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boleslaw Ruszkowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Pruss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alfred Pruss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Boleslaw Ruszkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Boleslaw Ruszkowski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Alfred Pruss in the 75thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Boleslaw Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wit Jajesniak in the 77th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, Widzew Łódz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikolaj Lewicki to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Pruss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Boleslaw Ruszkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Zemsta Działoszyn's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Walaszkiewicz came free, but Radomil Haszczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Pruss struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Boleslaw Ruszkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zemsta Działoszyn. When the match was over Zemsta Działoszyn could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Widzew Łódz throughout the match.
