Daniel Ispas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Gierlach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raschung SSA's Mieszko Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Jaroszewicz in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Edward Gierlach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raschung SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Storm Shadow the free kick. Storm Shadow's Arkadiusz Wawrukiewicz was substituted for Wasyl Lamczyk. In the 33rd minute, Edward Gierlach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Storm Shadow's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mieszko Dudkowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The crowd rose to their feet as Raschung SSA's Kryspin Skaradowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Ispas. That made the score 2-1 after 53 minutes of play. Alejandro Rodriguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute Jaroslaw Jaroszewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Wielopolski notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Raschung SSA's Mieszko Dudkowski. Mieszko Dudkowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Dênis dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tadeusz Wielopolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mieszko Dudkowski was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. The supporters of Storm Shadow booed when Raschung SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Kaider didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Raschung SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mieszko Dudkowski should have stopped the shot. In the 95th minute Jaroslaw Jaroszewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mieszko Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mieszko Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robin De Tapp, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Storm Shadow had played much better football throughout.
