The audience was convinced that Jakub Zjawin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wincenty Bartelak was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Wincenty Bartelak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakub Zjawin in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Borys Sidor made a precise shot to the right of Wincenty Bartelak. Korczaki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some careless play in the Korczaki defense, Marek Cwynar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Bartelak. The Korczaki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Bartelak should have stopped the shot. In the 27thth minute of the game Jakub Zjawin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korczaki's Wincenty Bartelak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pankracy Golec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Lutz von Puttkammer made a huge save. A collision led to Chelsea FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Pawel Fujarczuk hit a great ball. Lutz von Puttkammer didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Marek Cwynar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tobiasz Fikus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Chelsea FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jakub Zjawin made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marek Cwynar got free with Wincenty Bartelak in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Marek Cwynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Jakub Zjawin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Korczaki players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
