Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan Gecionis started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Szczepan Fujara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wolves Piekary Śląskie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Eugeniusz Kicia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gecionis in the 6th minute of play. Piotr Misiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Piotr Misiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Piotr Misiewicz got a free kick in the 7th minute. Eugeniusz Kicia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Gecionis in the 10th minute of play. Eugeniusz Kicia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Fujara in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Jan Gecionis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eugeniusz Kicia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eugeniusz Kicia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szczepan Fujara, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Roland Mleczewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Eugeniusz Kicia made a huge save. Piotr Misiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Piotr Misiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wincent Andrysiak was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 36th minute, Bernard Okopny sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wolves Piekary Śląskie's Wincent Andrysiak didn't even have to move. When Piotr Misiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Piotr Misiewicz couldn't finish the play. Eugeniusz Kicia made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Roland Mleczewski sent off a good shot on target. Szczepan Fujara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugeniusz Kicia having to make a save. Eugeniusz Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Cichewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Wolves Piekary Śląskie got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Blicharz.

Eugeniusz Kicia came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves Piekary Śląskie's Robert Cichewski. But to his dismay, Robert Cichewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 58 minutes into the game, Szczepan Fujara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Eugeniusz Kicia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Jan Gecionis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eugeniusz Kicia was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. 73 minutes into the game, Piotr Misiewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wincent Andrysiak. Piotr Misiewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. Wolves Piekary Śląskie's Wincent Andrysiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Wolves Piekary Śląskie from getting a goal against them. Szczepan Fujara scored 6-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eugeniusz Kicia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rd minute Roland Mleczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugeniusz Kicia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 88 minutes of play, Wolves Piekary Śląskie's Robert Cichewski made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugeniusz Kicia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Conrado Clemencin got a free kick in the 91st minute. Eugeniusz Kicia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Fujara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Wolves Piekary Śląskie had played much better football throughout.
