Kryspin Madej didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lukasz Kolbe went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 45th match minute, MKS Mechanik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Falk to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lukasz Kolbe made a kick off. Kryspin Gajewski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chatziantoniou Psichogiopoulos came out and tried to block the shot, but Kryspin Gajewski slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Lukasz Kolbe got a free kick in the 55th minute. Lucio Olivieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziantoniou Psichogiopoulos having to interfere. Chatziantoniou Psichogiopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kryspin Gajewski in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Oleszak to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Kolbe in the 63rd minute of play forced MKS Mechanik's goalkeeper Kryspin Madej to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Miroslaw Skonieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Madej saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrzej Dres's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
