Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Olaf Zuraw made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Gwidon Klocko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boguslaw Awizo was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Zenon Debowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Chelbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Urzut SSA's Gwidon Klocko got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Górnik Zabrze KSG booed when Urzut SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Zuraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinand Chelbeas short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Pawel Okropny to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Górnik Zabrze KSG's Boguslaw Awizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Penkalski in the 22nd minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Urzut SSA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Penkalski to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Górnik Zabrze KSG's Mikolaj Lichorobiec sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pawel Okropny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Boguslaw Awizo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Cempa in the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikolaj Lichorobiec was the one to do the kick off. Ferdinand Chelbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Pawel Okropny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Roland Penkalski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boguslaw Awizo. That made the score 1-1 in the 53 minute of play. If Olaf Zuraw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boguslaw Awizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Zuraw, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Mikolaj Lichorobiec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Urzut SSA getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gwidon Klocko hit a great ball. Pawel Okropny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Chelbea in the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Ferdinand Chelbea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Górnik Zabrze KSG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferdinand Chelbea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Mikolaj Lichorobiec elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 91st minute of the match, Gwidon Klocko got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boguslaw Awizo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pawel Okropny came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Górnik Zabrze KSG's Mikolaj Lichorobiec. But to his dismay, Mikolaj Lichorobiec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Górnik Zabrze KSG had played much better football throughout.
