Spectators: 6778 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 100) 5 minutes into the match, Boguciczanka Katowice's goal looked a bit too open when Tymoteusz Kondysar came free, but Damazy Sidorowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damazy Sidorowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Paciuszko in the 14th minute of the match. With 16 minutes on the clock, Zbyszko Galagan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Slawomir Major sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tolek Paciuszko kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Slawomir Major got free with Pankracy Poteralski in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Slawomir Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tolek Paciuszko kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes, Wieslaw Piekarczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zgliniec and the Boguciczanka Katowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. 31 minutes into the match, Slawomir Major notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Zgliniec's Pankracy Poteralski. Pankracy Poteralski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Slawomir Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boguciczanka Katowice's supporters rose to their feet, but Slawomir Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pankracy Poteralski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Zgliniec's zone, Zdzislaw Biraga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Poteralski came out of the goal and Zdzislaw Biraga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zgliniec's Pankracy Poteralski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Zgliniec from getting a goal against them. Slawomir Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Poteralski having to interfere. If Bernard Penczkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Slawomir Major stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucjan Grucza lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 62nd minute, one of Zgliniec:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zgliniec. The referee gave Boguciczanka Katowice a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgar Soszka, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Zgliniec's Pankracy Poteralski. 2-1. Slawomir Major recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Slawomir Major cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Pankracy Poteralski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pankracy Poteralski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slawomir Major in the 75th minute of play. Bernard Penczkowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pankracy Poteralski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bernard Penczkowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Slawomir Major's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Poteralski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Slawomir Major made a precise shot to the right of Pankracy Poteralski. Zgliniec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Tolek Paciuszko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Boguciczanka Katowice players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
