The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Herbert Kapinos made a precise shot to the right of Leonard Osielski. Czarni Połaniec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Leonard Osielski made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Herbert Kapinos sent off a good shot on target. Leonard Osielski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Kapinos went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Leonard Osielski was a little too slow when Elias Askberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 19th match minute, Czarni Połaniec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Wos to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Czarni Połaniec's goal looked a bit too open when Hampus Paulin came free, but Leonard Osielski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Korneliusz Wos during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st match minute, Czarni Połaniec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korneliusz Wos to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Kapinos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Leonard Osielski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Barnaba Dubiel hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Wieslaw Zdeb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Damazy Badanowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coś Tam Poznań's Herbert Kapinos got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wieslaw Zdeb in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damazy Badanowski saved Coś Tam Poznań from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Elias Askberg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonard Osielski. Elias Askberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Askberg got free with Leonard Osielski in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Barnaba Dubiel made the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes, Radomil Fabiszak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coś Tam Poznań and the Czarni Połaniec players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Coś Tam Poznań fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olaf Kosel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Askberg in the 86th minute of play forced Czarni Połaniec's goalkeeper Leonard Osielski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeusz Makomaski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Leonard Osielski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnaba Dubiel in the 93rd minute of the match.
