An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Januszewski in the 10th minute of play forced Skorupków's goalkeeper Norbert Sanocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the game, Meriç Hacısalihoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Norbert Sanocki was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leszek Wyrzykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Edmund Klawki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skorupków's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Klawki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Lopez struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Armindo Galvão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skorupków. When Erik Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Skorupków fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Lopez couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Skorupków got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Sliwinski. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Teofil Januszewski's late challenge caught a Skorupków's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teofil Januszewski helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ZKS Sandomierz getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Teofil Januszewski hit a great ball. Norbert Sanocki made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Teofil Januszewski sent off a good shot on target. Edmund Klawki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Galvão having to interfere.
