Stal Kraśnik's Zdzislaw Panikowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Liberko in the 56th minute of play. Waldemar Dziedziak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wieslaw Polkoski having to interfere. Barnaba Jakubiak walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Marcin Witwicki kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Nordenhaken's Kazimierz Liberko got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Kazimierz Liberko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zdzislaw Panikowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nordenhaken supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nordenhaken would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
