Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jožek Teraž to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jožek Teraž in the 53rd minute of play forced Lonely Hearts Club's goalkeeper Kacper Anszczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Olgierd Dziura fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lonely Hearts Club's protests and gave Olgierd Dziura a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Lonely Hearts Club got a freekick which was hit by Olgierd Dziura. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartosz Zieba got free with Sylwester Imbor in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 89 minutes into the game, Jožek Teraž cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Kacper Anszczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the game, BORUSSJA DORTMUND's Jožek Teraž nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kacper Anszczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. BORUSSJA DORTMUND had played much better football throughout.
