Napoleon Kicia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilbert Kalinowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kajetan Murdza came out and tried to block the shot, but Gilbert Kalinowski slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 38th minute. Ekipa z pod Remizy's Kajetan Murdza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Kalinowski in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th minute, one of Ekipa z pod Remizy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ekipa z pod Remizy. When the match had been going on for 49 minutes, Sulmin's Leszek Dubiel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kajetan Murdza. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilbert Kalinowski to make the kick off.
