In the 17th minute, Adam Beninda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Karol Soroka made a precise shot to the right of Dobromir Bejrut. KS Słodowiec Warszawa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roman Tychy in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radomir Arbaszewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 25 minutes, Jacek Fleszar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Słodowiec Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacek Fleszar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Karol Soroka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dobromir Bejrut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Smotryszów's Karol Soroka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dobromir Bejrut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jacek Fleszar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Eugeniusz Zaremba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Soroka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Arbaszewski having to interfere. Smotryszów's Radomir Arbaszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Smotryszów from getting a goal against them. After the first half Smotryszów were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Zaremba to make the kick off. Hieronim Solak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Arbaszewski having to interfere. Smotryszów's Radomir Arbaszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Fleszar in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Roman Tychy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomir Arbaszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Eugeniusz Zaremba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugeniusz Zaremba might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radomir Arbaszewski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugeniusz Zaremba ran back to his position shaking his head. KS Słodowiec Warszawa's Damian Soroka got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Smotryszów fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Adam Beninda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 89th playminute. Artur Kossakowski kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Eugeniusz Zaremba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chants of Smotryszów echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KS Słodowiec Warszawa had held the ball for most of the match.
