Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zdzislaw Ratulowski started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Juliusz Smolarek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franciszek Adamczak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Franciszek Adamczak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkadiusz Walicki in the 12th minute of the match. Czeslaw Duda hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Franciszek Adamczak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiktor Domala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Falbogi SSA's Wiktor Domala got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Arkadiusz Walicki came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Falbogi SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arkadiusz Walicki couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Falbogi SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Ratulowski came free, but Czeslaw Banan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

52 minutes into the game, Leon Moryl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Franciszek Adamczak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damazy Wolnik in the 55th minute of play forced Falbogi SSA's goalkeeper Czeslaw Banan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Leon Moryl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falbogi SSA's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Moryl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franciszek Adamczak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zdzislaw Ratulowski struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Czeslaw Banan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŁKS. Czeslaw Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Wolnik in the 63rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Moryl during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leon Moryl hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Walicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franciszek Adamczak having to interfere. Falbogi SSA's Bogdan Bazan was substituted for Miroslaw Dzerwucki. Franciszek Adamczak was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Juliusz Smolarek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juliusz Smolarek really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Czeslaw Banan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damazy Wolnik in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, ŁKS's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Smolarek came free, but Franciszek Adamczak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Arkadiusz Walicki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falbogi SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arkadiusz Walicki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Slawomir Puszynski struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Czeslaw Banan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŁKS. Falbogi SSA's Leon Moryl managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Izydor Peczkowski in the 93 minute of the game. Franciszek Adamczak made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Leon Moryl sent off a good shot on target. Juliusz Smolarek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Falbogi SSA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Falbogi SSA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
