The audience was convinced that Milosz Badanowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jakub Bartocha was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Irkowe Orły's zone, António Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezary Marut came out of the goal and António Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugon Lichniak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cezary Marut having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Lichniak in the 22nd minute of play forced Irkowe Orły's goalkeeper Cezary Marut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antoni Penc charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Penc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th minute Milosz Badanowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakub Bartocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Pawel Klocko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Madryt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Irkowe Orły the free kick. In the 43rd minute, António Maia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cezary Marut was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Cezary Marut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from António Maia went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Real Madryt were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. António Maia was the one to do the kick off. Radomir Raschke took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cezary Marut. Cezary Marut dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milosz Badanowski during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Real Madryt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Cezary Marut made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when António Maia sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Irkowe Orły's Milosz Badanowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jakub Bartocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Marek Seliga had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. During the 74th minute of the match Antoni Penc completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Antoni Penc a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Real Madryt made a substitution. Robert Grunwalski replaced Marek Seliga. If Radomir Raschke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. António Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cezary Marut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If António Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Real Madryt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Irkowe Orły.
